Romanian Educational Seismic Network (ROEDUSEIS)

Created in 2012 as a first seismological education initiative in Romanian schools, Romanian Educational Seismic Network (ROEDUSEIS) wants to bring closer to pupils, students and teachers important topics in the field of Earth Sciences, through direct involvement in the monitoring, analysis and interpretation of earthquakes. More details here.

Mobile Earthquake Exhibition (MOBEE)

Developed as part of a national project, MOBEE (Mobile Earthquake Exhibition) presents to the general public the most important and up-to-date information about earthquakes, in an accessible and attractive form. MOBEE is easy to transport and uses 3D models and interactive digital applications to illustrate an itinerant journey - from the causes to the effects of earthquakes and what can we do to reduce seismic risk. More details here.

Visits and workshops at INFP

INFP’s headquarter (in Măgurele near Bucharest) and some of the seismic observatories (Muntele Roșu, Timișoara, Vrâncioaia) open their gates to be visited, both by classes of students and teachers (e.g. within Another Kind of School Program) and by groups of people interested in the field of seismology. More details here.
